We are following a concept called:G.O.L.D.
this stands for Get going Oh wow Look deeper Deliver

we asked some questions to our principal.
These were our questions.
1.Who do you think will watch the video. Kids will watch them first when they find out but mostly parents will watch it.
2.How long do you think the movie should be. Not longer than 5 minutes.

3.Do you want to have an introduction or a short interview. He's okay with it. 4. Do you mind if it is a mix between moving pictures and still pictures. Yes he wants a mix of both. 5.Do you mind if there is a music scene.No he doesn't mind but we're not aloud any rock music. 6.Do you want there to be serious humors.he does want it to be a little bit humorous if it is possible.
These were our scenes
1. Room 9 stands at sign and say welcome to arrowtown school 5-8 seconds.
2. Drop off zone 4-10 seconds.
3. People getting off bus 5-9 seconds.
4. Oliver says his lines 6-14 seconds.
5. Tiarn says his lines 6-14 seconds.
6. Room 10 working 7-14 seconds.
7. Library 7-15 seconds.
8. Playground at lunch 5-12 seconds.
9. Court at lunch 5-12 seconds.

Today we played with the cameras (see above) to do some testing,
it was fun and we learnt how to use the video cameras.
we also learnt about the rule of 3rds so we could use it
in our movie.
we looked at other ads/movies on youtube.
we looked for mainly school ads,but we couldn't find many,so
we looked at other ads.
we did the videos and
some of them were a bit wonky,
so we re did them and they were good.
we had to edit the movie.
we are not quite up to this stage yet but we will do this tommorow.

we have had a three week break and we have re looked at our scenes
this is what we thought about our scenes.
rm9 saying"welcome to arrowtown school"=we think this is good because it gives the school a friendly impression.
drop off zone= we like this because it isnt too wonky and we think it goes well in the movie.
oliver= we like this because oliver is a junior, we filmed him several times and this is the best video we got of him.
swimming= we like this slideshow because it shows the fun we have at the pools and what else we do in swimming.
tiarn= we think this needs redoing because we took this clip on a rainy day so it doesn't give the school a good impression.
jack= we like this because jack explained why he liked the school very well.
macetown= the only redoing this needs is the transitions because in our opinion they make the video better.
skiing= we like this becauseit also shows how much fun we have doing activities outside of the school.
x country= we like this because it is another activity we do outside of school and they are good photos of x country.
lunch time= we like this because yummy things we can get at school sometimes.
playing at lunch= we like this because it looks cool how it goes from one picture to another.
the rest still needs to be done.

Today we get to use new computers.
We will re edit our movie
because the computer we're on
keeps crashing.
So we are converting some of our footage to the macs.
So that we can do our movies alot quicker.
The other stuff is getting taken out so that we can put new stuff in.
So far the new footage we're putting in is:
Someone skiing over a jump effects- slow motion if possible.
We are also taking out some photos

we have been using the macs it is annoying because if we turn off the macs the next time we turn them on all our footage is gone.
so we keep having to restart our movie.
